Poach Salmon in Fresh Milk

As usual i will browse internet the day before to search for yummy and healthy recipe for my lovely girl and i came across this recipe that is simple and i guessed my girl will love it. After a while having steam fish, steam broccoli and soup for lunch she seems to get sick of this recipe plan and i need to work harder to find more yummy recipe for her. All this while she loves western food and cheesy food a lot but all of a sudden she was craving for rice , steam vege and steam fish (i was so happy as i don't have to crack my head to think of new recipe everyday). But seems my holiday come to an end and i need to back to work again. He He

This is what i cook for her and she loves it so much. I saw she even take some of the soup to drink. She finished in 15 minutes! Happy Mummy :)

Recipe:

1 salmon fillet
1 small bay leave
Fresh milk to cover (just covered)
Black pepper
½ medium onion (slice)
1 garlic (slice)

1.Put all ingredients to boil , once boiled gently put the fish inside
2.Cook for 7-8 min (simmer). Today I cooked 10 minutes and I think can shorter the time next time so that the fish will not be too tender.
3.Remove fish and all ingredients inside
4. Bring the milk / soup to boil longer (to thicken the soup) and add pinch of salt and little butter
 5. Finally pour back on fish before serve

Today cook these combi for her :
- rice ball with about 1 tspn VCO (sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds)
- steam broccoli (sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds)

- scramble kampung egg with butter (added 1 tspn water)
- old cucumber and corn soup. Added 2 scallops and lean meat.

She loves the food i prepared for her :)
